San Salvatore's Church
|
This imposing
, that presents elements that link it to the Baroque period, was
re-built after the earthquake of 1805.
It has got three aisles and a basilican plan; besides, it keeps an
important relic of the Patrono
,
statues,
, two
well-finished capitals and a mysterious object of sannita
origin.
It is a
, whose inscription made in roman characters of the II or
III century a.C. comes back to the Families Giulia and Munazia, but this
fact is bad linked to the scenes of hunting sculptured in bas-relief on
the external walls of the urn maybe in the high medieval period.
