Toro is a small town of 1600 inhabitants and it's placed on the hill not far
from Campobasso and close to Fondovalle Tappino.
It offers to the visitor all its beauty, especially on the Sunday morning,
when the sun shines brightly.
But the most distinguishing and suggestive parts of Toro are the rue, very
narrow
that characterize the old side of the town and open the view to
the near towns up to the Dauno Apennins.
And, just because of its height,
, that comes from Latin
and means collis cacuminatus and rotundus (sharp and round hill).
And it's not a case that the terrace (loggia) is one of the typical and most
recurrent architectonical elements of many local constructions.
So the
has got two terraces, one of which seems spying upon the life of
Piazza del Piano.
