During the Summer time, we can't miss to visit the House of Trotta's
family, an ancient building close to the Church of San Salvatore and
erected above the rests of another building collapsed because of the
      earthquake of 1805.
The heavy main door, made of oak-trees, opens itself on a magic world:
      great are the
      , the
on the walls (most of them represent the gentlemen of the
family, who cared also for the education of the young people of the town
and of the region and kept in touch with some important people of that
period, such as Tommaseo and Cantù), and, above all, the
, that keeps rare books and precious manuscripts.
